About Me
Hey! I'm Lauren Kate, and yes, it's a double name. I'm from a small town called Corinth, Mississippi, and despite it being small, I rarely meet someone who doesn't have a Corinth connection! Beyond being a marketing wizard, I love traveling, running, cycling, and painting on occasion. I'm a big foodie, and I've recently gotten into cooking. I'm always down for an adventure or a spontaneous trip, and despite not being a big fan of reality TV, it takes me no convincing to have a Bachelor night with friends.
I'm known for my creativity and humor. Please ask me about my annual Christmas prank on my little brother if you want a good laugh. I'm passionate about embracing life to the fullest and I love to tell the stories it brings along the way.
Marketing Campaign
In my final semester of graduate school, my Campaigns class broke into teams and created our own marketing agencies and developed a campaign for a real client. Our client was the National Cyber Security Operations Center, located in Huntsville, AL. After multiple client consultations and meetings, along with a conference with the leadership of the NCSOC and tour of their facility, we formally pitched our client our final campaign and marketing strategy. My team was selected as the winners of the campaign pitch by the client. Below is the pdf containing our entire Plan Book with our research, strategy, and execution.

At the School of Applied Sciences, I was given the Social Work Department as my main department to work with. I started the Instagram from scratch in August of 2022 and have grown it by myself from then!
While I currently work at Nix-Tann Real Estate starting the last week of January, I haven't built my portfolio enough yet to add it to this website! Content on this internship will be coming soon in May!
